Our Policy

Change of Mind Returns & Exchanges     
At Southern Uniforms, we want you to love your purchase — but if you change your mind, we’re happy to offer an exchange or refund on most full-price and reduced items.

Return Timeframes:

  • In Store Purchases: 30 days from date of purchase
  • Online (Australia & New Zealand): 30 days from delivery date 
  • Online (International): 45 days from order placement 

To be eligible for a change of mind return, your item must:

  • Be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached
  • Include proof of purchase 

If you received a discount at the time of purchase, that discount will be honoured on an exchange of equal or higher value.    

Your Rights Under Consumer Law 

This policy doesn’t affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If your item has a major fault, you're entitled to a refund or replacement. If it has a minor fault, we may offer a repair, replacement, or refund.    
Items marked as seconds or samples cannot be returned for faults identified at the time of purchase — but if there's a new issue not related to the original fault, your rights still apply.    
 For faulty, damaged or incorrect items, we’ll cover return postage once we've inspected the item. Please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.     

Please Note: Online Orders     

We are unable to make changes or cancellations once your order is placed. This includes:

  • Changing delivery address 
  • Adjusting colours or sizes  
  • Adding/removing items
  • Applying discounts
  • Cancelling your order

Returns In Store  

Simply show your online receipt (this was emailed to you when you placed your online order) and the credit card used for your purchase.  Our store staff will be happy to assist you.

Returns By Post    

 How to Return Your Online Order     
      Step 1: Complete the Packing Slip 
                       Grab the packing slip that came with your order and fill in the quantity and reason for your return. Don’t have it? Contact Customer   Service and we’ll help you out.   
      Step 2: Create Your Return with Australia Post 
                       Head to the Australia Post returns portal to enter your details, print your return label, and pack your item securely.  
      Step 3: Send It Back
                       Drop your parcel off at any Australia Post street box, Post Office, or Parcel Locker — whichever is easiest for you! 

Important Things to Know:

  • Southern Uniforms online cannot process returns or exchanges for items purchased or exchanged in-store.
  • Make sure your parcel is securely packaged and clearly labelled with both your return address and the Country Road returns address.
  • We recommend using the Australia Post return method to avoid any delivery issues. 


Processing Time:

  • Please allow up to 10 business days after delivery to our store for your return to be processed and your refund issued.
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once your return is complete.
  • During busy periods (like sales), processing may take a little longer — thanks for your patience!  


Exchanges:

  • Prefer an exchange? Just note your desired style/size on the packing slip.
  • If your requested item is unavailable, we’ll issue you a refund instead. 
  • For postal exchanges, we’ll process a new order and email you the order number once it’s on the way. 
  • Please note: Alipay orders cannot be exchanged by post.
